By the way, I have an idea. Perhaps many good people can and want to help, but they don't know how or how.
For example, you need a person to do a certain job. Writing a wiki in a certain language, a tester, or something else.
If you had made a list of this, perhaps more people would have responded to help you, because they clearly knew what to do. You are practically the only ones who are committed to making a free distribution and go no matter what you start.

Well, I explain the steps: The wiki is NOT going to be deleted, but transformed. This is on-going planned but as you can see: We are not a big team, so we need to be clear about our time and focus. The rework of the infrastructure is not going to happen at once but as said step by step.

Also the wiki was never planned so everyone can change everything. This was done in the past and left articles in a not so good state. See also: When you want to change or enhance or add articles, no problem and welcome. But please understand: We do not give a roadmap for the web-infrastructure as long as there is no one interested in supporting us or be part of the team doing that. Demanding that besides all what we do now is not possible under the current size of the team. We had harsh debates in the past with people demanding less so-called micro-management, so we relied on those people also and ended up with articles in a very poor or even worse state, also some where deleted and we had much work to reconstruct everything again. So before we have again discussions on those levels: No, it is not meant to reject everything but just to grant a good state of the wiki itself - just in case stated.

Or at least in this old wiki, leave a roadmap item about steps taken and not taken. Until a new wiki is available. Or are you already going to release the BSD hyperbole?

You closed the topic and I didn't have time to write. Static sites are great, including wikis. But it will take some time, and I would like to observe the development stage, what steps have been taken and which are still left. And until this wiki is deleted, can I view it? Where, how, and how can permission be requested? This is unfortunately not listed on the wiki. And there is no registration button on the wiki either. If this can be requested through you, then please give permission and login details.
