But the issue goes further as it is the elementary signing-part for drivers, which should be taken into perspective: VeraCrypt, Wireguard and others can't do further updates on that behalf right now because of missing signing-methods for their software.

The only reason I can think of microsoft would allow them to return is to feed their code to copilot probably.
