Do you have done the setup for your used hostname?

/etc/hostname

Recommendation to use direct the openrc-configuration and setup the hostname:

/etc/conf.d/hostname

Furthermore there is nothing wrong with the errore-message. It is the absolute default!

I've encountered a strange problem regarding bash. When I set it as the main shell for a certain user, then when authorizing this user through the standard login in the tty, I see this prompt:

-bash-5.1$

if I enter the wrong command, then this is shown:

-bash: ofofof: command not found

So why does the "-" sign appear? This sign disappears if I run bash again or log into the X session. I can partially solve the problem by simply adding "PS1='$ '" to /etc/bash.bashrc. But what to do with the error message?
