There is also pine from Courier MTA software. It would be excellent to have Courier MTA http://www.courier-mta.org/ in Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre, as this would allow good usage on servers.

Debian GNU/Linux is not packaging courier in some understandable manner, it could be much much simpler if directly packaged.

It is well developed MTA, I am using it on Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre as self compiled software. It also contains secure webmail with GnuPG encryption which we use for years. And there is pine client.

Similar to mutt, there is also the terminal mail client Alpine. Could be this package added? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alpine

I am so glad to have newest mutt version in Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre, as otherwise I was compiling it myself.

It was made because we're using a Debian modified source of Mutt that contains parts of Neomutt code to fix a lot of security issues in that specific version of Mutt (1.8.3). Anyway, i'm going to upgrade Mutt to a newer version following the backporting amendment in our packaging guidelines to fix the remaining security issues.
