Also, i usually use dos format for /dev/sda or w/e is hard disk.

So i followed this tutorial for full disk encryption, as to test it im doing this in a vm before i put this on my laptop.

The problem is that nowhere it says how to install grub to I followed the basic installation tutorial and did grub-install /dev/sda

The problem is when I run grub-install /dev/sda it gives me two errors before halting.
"warning: this GPT partition label contains no BIOS Boot Partition; embedding wont be possible"
"error: embedding is not possible, but is required for RAID and LVM install"

This is on a legacy boot because my old macbook laptop doesnt work with efi i think, and I did also try efi boot and it said something about an efi folder missing.

Id appreciate any help asap because itd be nice to get this on my macbook (secondary laptop) because it ubuntu broke recently
