Yes, up to the team to decide. But up to all of us to decide here to integrate even more Qt-packages. From my concurrent point and knowledge: That  is a NO. Qt has proven in a whole that they don't respect "free software" and only the foul compromise of "open-source". So I would be pragmatic for Qt5, but not for any newer version and release.

Well, if qt6 really does require gtk to use, I would definitely agree... and if qt5 cannot be continued tp ne maintained without a massive amount of help as well.

There are some decisions of that project: I would name them not that good. First updating wxWidget-version too fast for us. That's just our problem. But then again going for Qt? Here to quote:

Just check the actual list of packages for being included into Hyperbola GNU/Linux-libre 0.4. There are changes about the progress and especially the package gtkgreet cannot be included further as it depends on PAM and needs Rust / Cargo for compilation as it is only possible to run with the display-manager greetd (https://git.sr.ht/~kennylevinsen/greetd).

Let's make a list of everything left till v0.4 and make a fast sprint towards a v0.4 iso.

First development is done for Lumina (big thanks to sagaracharya here: https://git.hyperbola.info:50100/~~saga … extra.git/) and building packages incoming for qemu and grub as soon as possible. For next week there has to also a talk about the filesystem and permissions to be reviewed within.
