I tried the latest 5.10.84. I face no crashes anymore! I successfully kept the logged in tty session alive for 10 mins without any issues! Thanks, that's progress!

startx still doesn't work correctly. I have sent /var/log/Xorg.0.log to throgh. I guess you'll need to rebuild xenocara again for 5.10.84!

Problem with handbrake found as there were patches missing for the build-process: Will be fixed with the next commit containing more multimedia-libraries and programs this week. The Debian-patchset for handbrake is therefore not necessary and will be removed.

Discovered problems with handbrake: The application is transcoding so far, but only the video-output is confirmed. Audio is lost within synchronizing. So the package needs a rework to run!

Wine works, but is bound onto the architecture: So for sure when using 32bit you will be able also to use all other applications being 32bit.
I can even run PlayOnLinux with little modifications, even when it is not fully libre.

Concurrent tests with version 0.4 on a notebook (ThinkPad X60 Tablet, 32bit-only):

1. Running JWM as window-manager, no problems encountered
2. Using GIMP, Inkscape, Krita and Tuxpaint with tablet-mode, no problems encountered
3. Tests with games, no problems encountered
4. Running wine with some prefix for older games, no problems encountered
5. Allday-usage for video-files especially for DVD-ripping and transcoding, no problems encountered
6. Game-emulation with mednafen and mgba, no problems encountered

Tests for sure not finished, but just a note for the moment.

No offense taken, hope also none given.
My question is in relation towards who is needing help (for sure clear) and who needs to go into especially. So we can solve that together and have in the end something to be cleared also when something needs more refinement.

The only way I have been able to get sndio working to my desired outcome, is to make sure /etc/asound.conf is changed on the inside to look like this:

# Use sndio sound server by default
pcm.!default {
type sndio
}

# vim:set ft=alsaconf:

Otherwise for somethings it will not work, such as games...

What do you mean with "silly mistakes", especially done by whom? Last time we have dicussed about that part there were even no devices shown. So again the proposal just to use ALSA for now but you need to configure .asoundrc first and approve alsasound is running at runlevel default also.

I am sick of silly mistakes! I executed aplay -l without being root!
Here is the new output which looks okay to me. There's no sound though!

Hope that we all can learn more every day again.
Life is about learning, sometimes not the nicest things. But that's another story as I think Hyperbola should be all way around learning the nice way. Meaning: With interest and deep diving into more parts of the system.

More updates on issues as Battle for Wesnoth is now fixed and ready for building including all translations got missing before.
We have now "loggers" with rsyslog and syslog-ng. And long missed but also incoming is spamassassin! Was in preparation for the last weeks.

Building the kernel can last for hours, depending on what option you have chosen. Afterwards intense testing is needed for sure before final inclusion in the package-database.
