Hey, you can always make a proposal for a PKGBUILD and try to build synergy without avahi-support. I don't know if that is possible but just a guess: No. The reasoning: https://github.com/symless/synergy-core/wiki/CompilingSeems the whole application is just based onto avahi and that would be impossible with Hyperbola 0.4. So at best you would have to try remove that, but in that case you would be better onto choose another alternative.
