Thanks for sharing. I like bitchute
I was unable to find bitchute source code, but it seems invidio.us is a wrapper for YouTube and is AGPL.

Bitchute alas, is not free software.

The privacy policy and terms seem to indicate that it collects data so yeah...
also, if wikipedia is to be believed, well, here:

i am more excited about peertube for hosting and autonomy, of course i like things like invidio.us for accessing youtube itself.
i have had a youtube account a few times. each time they did something absolutely stupid i deleted my account in protest-- most recently over censorship by country (that tells you how long it is since i had a youtube account.)
i tried signing up since then, but im not giving them a phone number. i signed up on twitter without one when they went from 140 to 280, but that didnt last. my first tweet in many years was flagged as suspicious until i added a phone number. what a great scam!

Yeah... screw the big mainstream social media although its not because of what my president calls fake news, its because of spying.
I don't personally like agent orange as much as the next person, but social media is a virus that needs to be fixed.
Looking at you --------------------------------------------------------------------> Facebook/Twitter!
ps, i myself am a liberal and dislike agent orange's supporters more than I do him. anyways rant over. xD
EDIT: nah... I am a progressive now. It seems liberals still have a weakness like conservatives of wanting capitalism to remain powerful.
Progressives on the other hand understand you need a balance. And you have to ruffle feathers to make it work. even rich feathers

Speaking just for my perspective: We need more than only some alternatives to access proprietary content. The project invidio.us is just another example of that. The content itself is proprietary and just part of a commercial marketing and distribution. When we as community concentrade more on real alternatives this could be a step forward. Following up there are some examples I've found within the last years:
Peertube (https://joinpeertube.org/en/)
MediaGoblin (https://mediagoblin.org/)
Plumi (https://plumi.org/)
Excluded from this list is MediaDrop because of the usage of proprietary Flash-components for the upload of data.
This is getting real hard because even now most videos from Peertube are just copies taken from the proprietary, big instances. But otherwise I see no chance establishing free video-platforms as real alternatives!
Peertube is very promised
Peertube is very promised
What does that mean persay?
