Topic: SHA512 hashes on v0.3 don't match!

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum but I just torrented the latest image of Hyperbola.
I downloaded the SHA512 file along with the torrent file so that file said the SHA512 hash should be 4cc3563e513cb711cf54843819e5a69318633a432f013bd49780822644a7d76e7bf2400d8ba220c0bfff83582b774f0bfa182127410c2dd9d494752fb0ba6287

But when I checked the torrented file's hash, it turned out like this instead
B3F4A5F4713924B61528F004D15206F3CB30124AD6E1F5042FA4372435E7D5A2F1D483A9E6D2BB2B33AF0BC73E54CC9A897A9A24967C641FA7B354ACA645758F

I usually dont even check the hash.  Which probably isnt wise, but yeah, I havent had issues so far. wink

If the ISO-image has not a correct hash, it would be good creating an issue about that! But as zapper pointed out: Could you please verify which ISO-image is in usage?

Actually, I just realised I torrented the wrong image.
I thought I downloaded the main distro when actually I got the hypertalking version so of course
their hashes didn't match.

My mistake. Sorry.

No problem, glad you are willing to try the os. smile

But I do recommend reinstallation with the current iso. At least till 1.0+ comes out anyhow.
