Topic: Iceweasel-UXP seems like the only functioning browser in the repos

Netsurf can't even load basic sites like search engines. I couldn't even download a PDF on uzbl or epiphany. Random sites never stop loading on epiphany, and it uses too much RAM anyhow. Konqueror wouldn't load random websites.

I'm not including Dillo; it's is fine for simply reading online, but it can't be used for any site that requires Javascript.

Surf and qutebrowser seem like they <i>could</i> be more usable, but learning a million new keybindings for basic functionality (like navigating to a web page) is ridiculous.

Is there some reason why we don't have Falkon or Midori in the repos?

Re: Iceweasel-UXP seems like the only functioning browser in the repos

why many browser is unusable ?
1. hyperbola is a lts distro, many browser version provided are an old version that cant cath up with modern web technologies.
2. some extension like javascript and nonfree ones also blocked by default, this might cause web pages doesnt load correctly.

why some browser doesnt available ?
1. hyperbola use old repositories, some applications are not available yet.
2. in the future midori and falkon will be available but falkon depends on nonfree qtwebengine so its would likely unusable.

as for daily task and web browsing i think iceweasel its good enough
