Topic: Why no qt4-webkit?

There is a qt5-webkit but no qt4 version despite the other qt4 packages in the repo.

Because we have no further application in need for that kind of library and as long as we are not going add, there is no need for this. Quality above quantity. And I speak only for version 0.4 as version 0.3.1 uses another technical aspect for many packages. For version 0.3.1 we have qt5-webkit-ng: https://www.hyperbola.info/todo/rebuild … webkit_ng/

The problem here is that the webkit-component has problematic parts in relation towards a free system-distribution. So we cannot add qt4-webkit and as 0.3.1 will become old-stable in the next time we won't do that also.

Human being in favor with clear principles and so also for freedom in soft- and hardware!

Certainly anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices: For a life of every being full with peace and kindness, including diversity and freedom. Capitalism is destroying our minds, the planet itself and the universe in the end!
