Topic: How can I overprovision SSDs in Linux/BSD?
I always made sure to keep at least a quarter of empty space in my SSD's in an effort to maintain their lifespan
but, recently, I realised that overprovisioning is not the same thing as keeping empty non-partition spaces when I installed Samsung Magician and used to actually increase the overprovisioning of my NVMe (That's only a partition of half its total capacity).
So this begs the question, how can I actually overprovision my SSDs in any Linux or BSD distro,
especially the upcoming HyperbolaBSD?
