Topic: Freezing the system during startup.

I have two Asus laptops one older and the other newer and on both I have the same error.
When running the Hyperbola 4.2 installer, the system freezes already during the open-rc scripts. Most likely something is missing in the kernel.
The hint is that hyperbola 3.0 3.1 boots normally.
I can't do anything and have no idea how to solve this.

Hey, can you provide more information about the specific error itself?

Human being in favor with clear principles and so also for freedom in soft- and hardware!

I don't have, the system starts from usbstick normally then stops and doesn't respond to anything

and this happens in different places, so please do not suggest this picture. Because other times it will stop a few lines away.

You mean the group "kvm" not found? No that's not really related to any kernel-problem, it is a generic point we should sort out for the next release 0.4.3. smile For the rest: I'm a bit unsure for the moment where this may be the problem. Will look further, but the problem is also: I have no comparable hardware here to test it. sad

as a workaround u could install hyperbola using 0.3.1 iso until we figure this out
