Topic: Problem Mirror Selection

I'm recruiting a team nano /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist A list of mirrors appears, they are all documented with a sign # I understood so that you need to unstrap the nearest mirror, that is, remove the sign # And then what should be done? How to save it and get out? Or am I doing the wrong thing?

Re: Problem Mirror Selection

The logic is quite simple: When not commented out (through #) the first mirror found and checked is used. While downloading data a problem in resolving would occur the next mirror in the line is used. Annotation: For sure only related to the corresponding used as for "stable" or "testing" (or "hidden" when using tor).

If you like to create a mirror you can use different tools like lftp. smile
