congrats. one of the handful of reasons i started my organisation is i didnt think the fsf was taking the systemd issue seriously (and i dont think it will be the last issue like it, either.)

now theres an official fsf distro that is standing against the creep of systemd! something to be very proud of. just getting on the list is quite a challenge in itself.

Thank you for supporting Hyperbola! Afaik, there are other non-systemd distros endorsed by FSF, such as Dragora and GuixSD, but i don't sure if those distros contain a clear anti-systemd policy like Hyperbola.

Cool, our current goal is increase even more our stability and security by migrating from the systemd's file system hierarchy used in Arch to the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard for the next release (Milky Way v0.3).

Congratulations, that's great. And the news is spreading on pro-linux.de for example (https://www.pro-linux.de/news/1/26576/f … ei-an.html) - a German news-portal about Linux in general. Have also read about this on Phoronix (https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page= … -Hyperbola).

Besides: How is the status for LibreSSL? Is the plan for version 0.3 fitting?
Using Hyperbola for more than a year now and no problems. Even running as system on (home)server!

Human being in favor with clear principles and so also for freedom in soft- and hardware!

Thank you for supporting Hyperbola!  Those news will help spread our distro to other communities! smile

It's under development for Milky Way v0.3, see our roadmap page for further details.

Good, I am glad you are starting on libressl, I know its supposedly more secure/less bloated.  hehe... I will try to tell of your os if you'd like to disroot.org forum if you want. I think I will do so right now, anything you want me to say in particular?

More importantly, those distros aren't as stable and in the case of Dragora, it has not been updated nearly enough for my taste/looks like it would be even harder to learn then Arch based distros, etc...

Besides, I have settled with Hyperbola. wink

Re: Hyperbola is officially accepted by FSF as a Free System Distribution

Congrats! Been using this distro since October last year (around the time systemd support was removed from the install iso).

Re: Hyperbola is officially accepted by FSF as a Free System Distribution

Is it possible to know how much money was given to Hyperbola since that event?
