Topic: Is there a way to generate PDF files with maths text?

I managed to do it using MathML and (the recently removed and discontinued) PhantomJS. Is there a better way (and one supported by Hyperbola)? Iceape displayed the formulas fine but print to PDF produced a PDF which didn't display the formulas correctly.

You can give abiword a try as it uses also gtkmathview.

The question was and is onwards for MathML and abiword is using concrete libraries to visualize this format. Other formats are in the end other formats and not in the interest of this thread. Besides that is abiword a good working word-processor and can be used alike without big memory-consumption.
