Hello together

as from now we want to inform about current happenings around our forum also within this thread. As said: Full transparency as said always.

Human being in favor with clear principles and so also for freedom in soft- and hardware!

Certainly anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices: For a life of every being full with peace and kindness, including diversity and freedom. Capitalism is destroying our minds, the planet itself and the universe in the end!

We have closed the registration of forums as in the early morning a new user with the name "anon99999999999999999999" and a very strange mail-address was created. It was obviously clear to see that here a possible bot-user or so-called test-user for further actions was created. So our next action was and is now to protect with this first handle our forums and also our users, so the community in a whole: We have closed the forums for new registrations, all other accounts are under no influence and everyone is able to login as normal. Just new users cannot create currently an account.

The other possibility would be to take no further actions and wait, afterwards also to accept that we would have to clean up results of vandalism. We will later lift again the ban for registrations and re-adapt that option again. So no worries! smile

This was once a kind meant announcement, but in regards to address this again: Using a trashmail-address is directly a moment of mistrust. It is not possible to reach out for a personal communication. If you do not wish doing so, then please do not register. You can create for sure a secondary mail-address at a service-hoster you find trustworthy. But at minimum it should be possible to reach out for communication together, especially not for the team but also with the community.

It goes that far some people are even not using any valid URL, just to make a trick on the check for a mail-address. We will remove such accounts immediately. No problem if you register again with a working mail-address later on, but do not use such non-existing URLs. That is even more worse than addresses on trashmail-hosting.
